Since I joined Internet World as an editor at the birth of the commercial web in the mid-1990s, I have explored its uses for publishing, building businesses, collaboration inside and outside of the workplace, and as part of a larger world that now includes social media and online video meetings. I have spoken internationally on the digital transformation of business and workplace collaboration technologies.
I am the author of Social Collaboration for Dummies, a former editor at InformationWeek and Baseline Magazine, and a contributor to publications including Forbes online, CIO Magazine, and Defense Systems. Some of my most recent writing on the digital transformation of business is at The Enterprisers Project.
Because I enjoy hands on exploration of digital experiences, I have created several WordPress plugins (including RSVPMaker for event publishing and registrations) and a software-as-a-service platform for Toastmasters club websites, Toastmost.org.
I practice webinar presentation and online event organizing skills at Online Presenters Toastmasters, which I led to charter in 2017.
